JAY SHREE SWAMINARAYAN
As everyone is aware the earthquake on 26- January 2001 severely damaged the Shri Nar Narayan Dev Mandir at the centre of Bhuj. Due to the state of the temple at the time it was rendered unsafe to serve, worship or venerate Bhagwan herein, therefore the saints, devotees and all involved transfered the deities to its current location.
Collectively, Sadguru Mahant Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami, Sadguru Shree Dharmkishordasji Swami, Sadguru Shree Ghanshyamjivandasji, Swami Sadguru Parsad Kothari Shree Shamji Bhagat and devotees across the globe concluded that Shri Nar Narayan Dev, Shri Harikrushna Maharaj, Shri Radha Krishna Dev, Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shri Sukh Shaiya and the other Murtis of Bhagwan be situated in a grand new temple.

5th Medical Camp organised by Bhuj Mandir. 3456 patient were cured at this camp and were all well looked after by being offered healthy breakfast in the morning and full lunch in the afternoon and free treatment. In Samvat 1860 Shreeji Maharaj introduced this system of looking after the needy, although its over 200 years now, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bhuj has kept it going. This is Maharajs commandments as per Shikshaptri which we can all see coming true. We too, should try and follow more and more day by day.

As you already know, just like the River Ganga, Hamirsarovar is our very own Ganga here at Bhuj. Lord Swaminarayan with Santos and Haribhaktos had played water sports at this place many times. There have also been various miracles where Santdasiji was sent to Badrikasham from here and more but to mention. To create awareness and make this place a pilgrimage, on behalf of the grand opening ceremony of Shree NarNarayan Dev Nutan Mandir Mahotsav, Thakorji, Saints and various devotees have participated in one “Maha Aarti”. It is said that just by doing Darshan of such a place and imagining or having the guilt that I wish I was there; ALL your past sins are wiped off the records of Chitragupt.
